Everything's standing still and there's nowhere left to go
But there's a peace as we just let go
And take the time to simply 'be'
We're constrained but not confined
Still get a glimpse of the world
In precious moments
Or from our windows
As we open our eyes to see
Raindrops falling, bending light into a colourful bow
Nature is calling, sending out a message of hope

Rainbows reflect through the tears
Of a world neglected for years
Space to heal and time to renew
As we realise what we need to do
Shining through the raindrops
Vivid colours make us stop
And slow down this pace of life
See more clearly what's in front of our eyes

In this untainted air, now we can breathe with all of our lungs
Deep down inside, then breathe out to those
With no choice but to stay enclosed
Distance won’t keep us apart
As we say prayers, send words of hope
To those who risk their lives
And don't think twice
To care for the sick and help them see
Raindrops falling, bending light into a colourful bow
Nature is calling, sending out a message of hope

Are we connecting, in ways that we never did before
Are we appreciating, things we took for granted and now long for
Never forget what we've seen
Never forget the freedom we’ve lost
Never forget where we’ve been
Never forget the lessons we’ve been taught

Everything's standing still, but we see where we need to go
Rainbows are reminders of the love we need to show
